This particular hydraulic decoiler is configured for a 3-ton coil capacity, but we also offer options up to 5 tons, 8 tons, and even 10 tons for heavier-duty lines. That makes it a great fit whether you’re running light-gauge profiles or handling thicker, wider coils in industrial-scale operations.
The coil width range is flexible, supporting materials up to 450mm wide, and the inner diameter range fits standard coils between 470mm and 530mm (±20mm). The decoiler’s expansion shaft is engineered from high-strength seamless steel tube, precision-machined to handle repeated expansion and contraction without deformation — even under heavy loads.
Coil Loading Made Easy and Safe
One of the standout features of this decoiler setup is the hydraulic coil loading car. During the test run, the loading car moved smoothly along its 2.5-meter travel track, lifting coils using its 705mm vertical stroke and aligning them perfectly onto the decoiler arm. This eliminates the need for overhead cranes or manual handling, which not only improves efficiency but also enhances workplace safety.
To further protect your raw materials, the loading car and decoiler platform are equipped with anti-scratch rubber pads, ensuring the coil’s surface coating remains intact. This is especially important when working with pre-painted, galvanized, or decorative steel, where even minor damage can result in costly rework or rejection.
Dual Control Options for Convenience
Operators can choose how they want to run the system: via a wireless remote controller or a fixed control panel installed on-site. Both interfaces are user-friendly and allow full control over the decoiling process, from shaft expansion to coil rotation and loading car positioning.
This dual control system is especially useful in busy workshops, where flexibility in operation and reduced manual intervention contribute to better throughput and less downtime.
Smooth Feeding with Variable Speed
The hydraulic expansion system ensures that coils are held firmly in place during rotation, adapting to varying inner diameters without slipping or damage. Meanwhile, the integrated frequency inverter system adjusts the decoiling speed in real-time based on the line’s operating requirements.
